  • Cut 1 large rutabaga (about 1 lbs) into french fry shape
    rutabaga cut into fries
  • Then in a bowl add the rutabaga fries and 1 tbsp paprika
    paprika
  • Then add 1 tbsp garlic salt and mix well

  • Next, add 1/4 cup unflavored whey protein powder
  • Mix well
    rutabaga fries mixed
  • Set deep fryer to cook at 325°F
  • Deep fry rutabaga fries for 5-6 minutes at 325°F

Notes

The unflavored whey protein is used to lightly coat the fries and is the ingredient that gives the rutabaga fries its crispiness
