A keto chicken lettuce wrap that is quick and easy made from ground chicken cooked in Asian inspired sauces wrapped in large butter lettuce leaves.

Ingredients
  

Sauce

Cooking the Chicken

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 cup onions chopped
  • 1/2 tbsp garlic paste
  • 1/2 tbsp ginger paste
  • 1/2 cup red bell peppers chopped
  • 1 lbs ground chicken
  • 1/4 tsp salt adjust to taste
  • 1/4 cup spring onions chopped

Lettuce Wrap

  • 6 leaves butter lettuce

Instructions
 

Sauce Preparation

  • In a bowl mix 1 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp hoisin sauce, 1 tbsp vinegar and 1 tsp sesame seed oil and set aside.

Cooking the ground chicken

  • Put pan on stove on medium heat and add 2 tbsp of olive oil.
  • Then add 1/2 cup chopped onions, stir and cook until soft.

  • Then 1/2 tbsp garlic paste and 1/2 tbsp ginger paste and stir.

  • Next add 1/2 cup chopped red bell pepper and stir.

  • Then push vegetables to one side of pan.

  • Then add 1 lbs ground chicken to the empty side of pan.

  • As the chicken gets cooked, mix with the vegetables.

  • Then add the sauce that was prepared earlier and mix well.

  • Then add 1/4 cup chopped spring onions and mix well.

  • Cook until chicken starts to get dry.

Finalizing Lettuce Wraps

  • Wash the butter lettuce leaves in water and pat dry with paper towels.

  • Fill about 4 tbsp of ground chicken in each lettuce leaf.

Notes

  • Keep stirring  and cooking until chicken is dry
