Instructions

Marinate

  • In a bowl mix 1/4 tsp turmeric, 1 tsp chili powder, 1 tbsp tandoori masala, 1 tsp garlic paste, 1 tsp ginger paste, 1/2 tbsp yogurt, 1 tsp vinegar, 1 tsp olive oil and 1/2 tsp salt (adjust to taste).
  • Then add 1/2 lbs large shrimp (8 - U13-U15 size) and mix into the masala.
  • Then refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, the longer the better.

Air Fry Keto Tandoori Shrimp

  • Place the shrimp in a single layer in the Air Fryer basket and brush on excess marinade from the bowl on to the shrimp until all used up.
  • Then cook for 15 minutes at 350°F flipping the shrimp over halfway through cooking (about 10 min).

Notes

  • I use Shan Tandoori masala powder.  You can use any brand of tandoori masala.  These are available at any Indian grocery store.  If you do not have it available substitute with 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder, 1/2 tsp paprika, 1/2 tsp black pepper powder, 1/2 tsp coriander powder, 1/2 tsp garam masala and 1/2 tsp monk fruit sweetener.
