Tuna Patties – a Keto friendly snack or side dish

Tuna patties are a quick and easy recipe that is already keto. We replaced all purpose flour in our original recipe with almond flour to bring down the carbs. These are absolutely delicious and can be enjoyed as a snack or appetizer. Looking for an alternative to tuna, check out my paneer pat

Tuna Patties Ingredients

  • 2 cans tuna
  • 1 tsp cilantro finely chopped
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • 1/4 red onion chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic paste
  • 1 tsp almond flour
  • 4 chilies finely chopped
  • 1 tsp salt adjust to taste
  • 1 egg large
  • 3 tbsp coconut oil

Tuna Patties Instructions

Prep

  • Finely chop red onion, chilies and cilantro
  • Then in a bowl, add tuna, onions, cilantro, chilies, ginger paste, garlic paste, almond flour, salt and egg. Mix well.

Mix the Ingredients

  • Then take about 2 tbsp of the mix and roll into a ball and then flatten in your hands

  • Makes about 12 tuna patties
Ready to Cook
  • Then put in refrigerator for about 30 minutes (optional)

Cooking Instructions

  • Put skillet on medium heat and add coconut oil.
Cook First Side

Cook on Frying Pan

  • Then pan fry, wait for about 2 minutes to brown and then flip and let other side cook for an additional 2 minutes
Flip

Flip over after about 2 minutes or until first side browned
