This keto chocolate almond butter recipe is a great alternative to Nutella. Nutella is made of hazelnut and sugar and has a high carbohydrate content that is not suitable for the keto diet. This recipe replaces the hazelnut with almond and the sugar with monk fruit making it a low carb keto friendly treat. Nutella has 21g net carbs for 2 tbsp serving compared to 1g net carbs for this version.

Keto Chocolate Almond Butter Instructions
This recipe is quick and easy. First, roast almonds on stove top on pan on medium heat for about 5-6 minutes. Then let the almonds cool for at least 5 minutes. Then transfer the almonds to a blender jar. Blend the almonds into almond meal in blender. Then add 1/2 cup monk fruit sweetener, 1/4 cup cocoa powder, 1/4 tsp salt, 1 tsp vanilla extract and 3 tbsp olive oil to blender bowl with almond meal. Then blend until a smooth buttery consistency. If the chocolate almond butter is too thick, add some more olive oil to make it more creamy and blend some more. Add in 1 tbsp increments, if needed.
