Fruits are known to be high in carbohydrates, so how is it possible to enjoy fruits on the keto diet? Some fruits, mainly the ones that end in with “berry” tend to be low carb. The following outlines the net carbs per 1-cup serving of some popular berries.
- Blackberries – 6g net carbs
- Raspberries – 7g net carbs
- Strawberries – 8g net carbs
- Blueberries – 17g net carbs
If you decide to indulge in blueberries, definitely one of my favorite berries, just be careful not to overindulge as the carbs can quickly add up so eat in moderation.
