Keto Garlic Naan

Keto Garlic Naan

The great news is that many of the Indian curries are keto friendly. Unfortunately, these dishes are accompanied by carbohydrate heavy side dishes such as rice or breads. One of the popular breads that goes with curries in India is the naan. The naan is a baked Indian flat bread. It is usually torn off into small bite size pieces and dipped into the curry to be eaten. A tasty version of naan is accomplished by adding garlic to it and hence the name garlic naan. I wanted to have a keto garlic naan to enjoy with variety of curries I cook.

I leveraged and modified the popular fathead dough recipe to accomplish a great tasting naan that not only tastes, but feels like a naan. Using butter rather than cream cheese in the fathead dough for the naan makes for a delicious buttery taste. The keto garlic naan turned out delicious so follow along below and make it when you need it to accompany an Indian curry.
