Tandoori Chicken Wings – Air Fryer

Chicken wings are a popular dish as seen by the large number of dedicated wing joints across the country. For the most part, chicken wings can be Keto friendly if you choose the right wings with low carb sauces like these tandoori chicken wings.

For national chain wing spots, Buffalo Wild Wings and Hot Wings makes great chicken wings and have so many choices. Tandoori chicken is a popular Indian dish and a favorite world wide. It always made me wonder why Tandoori Chicken Wings were not available.

I thought I would give it a shot with normal marination we traditionally use for Tandoori chicken and use it on chicken wings. If you want the more traditional tandoori chicken recipe cooked in an air fryer, check it out here.

Tandoori Chicken Wings Instructions

Marinade

  • Add all the ingredients into a large bowl except for the chicken wings
  • Then mix all the ingredients into a smooth paste
  • Then rub the marinade on to the chicken wings and let it marinate for at least one hour

Cooking Instructions

  • If using an oven, preheat to 375°
  • Then place the chicken wings in a single layer on a cooking tray or in the air fryer
  • For either the oven or the air fryer, cook for 30 minutes flipping over midway at 15 minutes
  • Then remove from oven or air fryer and enjoy!

Notes

  • For additional flavor, sprinkle chat masala onto the chicken wings and serve with thinly sliced onions.
  • Adjust chili powder and salt according to taste.
  • Each serving of 6 wings is 5 g net carbs (8.5 g carbs – 3.5 g fiber).

I created 2 servings of 5 chicken wings. Each serving has 603 calories and 5 g net carbs. Detailed nutritional information in the recipe card below. The experimentation turned out to be delicious!
